Yet another dc40 head problem erp model brushes don't turn on carpet but when lifted and pressure is not on then they spin, tried adjusting the suction lever with no difference, any suggestions? Thanks matt

Look at where the central wheel should be, see
this DC41 topic
. If the wheel has worn away it will glue itself to the floor and not turn.
