I finally made it to start stripping the French DC05 clear
And guess what ? I struck gold: it has got the Panasonic motor..
Changing it for an YDK is possible of course ..
https://manchestervacs.co.uk/DysonForum/index.php?topic=334.0
But it would ruin the colour coded ‘clear’ theme …
Unless anyone has a working Panasonic spare engine , it may end up as a designer lamp..
Idea’s anyone on a how to do a correct hart transplant ?

Just bought another, newer DC05 Clear in France with a completely différent sticker at the bottom, hoping this one might have the ‘other’ YDK plastics inside …
Oh wel a night at the casino costs more
If anyone needs other spares shortly ?

The scrap DC05 arrived and it’s was a complete body, but in a neglected state. Let’s say as French as a 2CV in a old barn ..
Long story short: disappointed at first it did not have the YDK motor and plastics, but thrilled that the Panasonic motor still works fine… NEVER expected that to be honest, and the seller could not have tested it either since the powercord was cut off
Ready to put a DC05 back to working order.
Anyone in need of DC05 clear parts?

There are very few of those left here. Probably more on the continent where they sold in larger numbers.

I guess that’s a good thing then
Can your DB be found online anywhere or what kind of info does it contain if not public or even classified
