DC39 / DC54 basic unit compound interchangeability?
« on: January 30, 2023, 11:40:25 am »
Hi all. DC39 / DC54 (both with the swivel mechanism for improved manoeuvrability aka "Ball" but not "Big Ball") basic unit compound interchangeability? Can anybody tell if the 220V motors (rating from 600/700W to 1300W) for DC39 and DC54 based models are interchangeable? Same question for the cable rewind assembly and the cyclone/canister assemblies? I'm aware that certain types of cyclone (say Cinetic on DC54 and Radial Root on DC39) may require motors of different strengths to work optimally. I'm not interested in compact design models DC47 and DC49 which already look different at first glance. Who can help? Thanks!
