are any Vax motors interchaqngeable?
« on: November 25, 2022, 05:40:02 pm »
Just getting to the vax section of my hoover shed where several of the motors are blown and was wondering if any of the air series motors are interchangeable like the Dyson YDK. I have air reach, air stretch, air hockey etc some scrap with good motors etc. I'm a Dyson man mainly but have got a build up of these vax's that I need to get out of the way, any advice appreciated, ta

Vax tend to use pretty much any motor they can find in China. It's our experience that you need to strip one down and see what you have that is the same dimensions to replace it with. Often they are pretty similar, similar enough, but not always.
