Hi

I've read through a lot of posts about this part and so far not found anything definitive.

I seem to be only getting 250V instead of the 300V I've seen quoted

Would that be the reason the motor doesn't spin? Or is it possibly both the PCB _and_ the motor?

cheers
Rob

Also, reading 0 Ohms across the motor terminals makes me suspect the motor is dead.

I would still expect the motor to spin if you are getting around 250V DC at the terminals. It's not uncommon for a motor to blow and short out the PCB with it. Sometimes there is visible scorching on the PCB as a result, sometimes not.

Thanks - I've ordered a second hand replacement (the whole unit)
