Information on Dyson DC27 Drive Belts Anyone?
« on: November 29, 2011, 11:11:29 pm »
Even we don't know everything.  :grinn:

One of our overseas customers (a guy in the army) has asked us about sourcing the DC27 drive belts. Dyson do not supply these on their own, they insist on supplying a new cleaner head.  ::)

We haven't got one in at the moment to compare belts with other models. Sod's Law dictates that we wont see one for service for months now. They are quite a rare machine in the UK. Google has drawn a blank too. Can anyone tell me which belt (from another machine maybe) will suit?

Anyone have one in bits out there?

I have been having a look at the one I`am working on a dc27 animal and comparing  both a clutch system and belts to a dc 07 and they are the same hope this helps.

Thanks Nev.  :tiphat:

I sent him some standard clutch belts already on spec FOC (gotta support our chaps). I dunno how long the military mail takes, but he is due to give me feedback when he has tried them. I wanted plan B in case they didn't fit. Looks like they will.
