Hi,

Does anybody know if there is a crevice tool which will fit a dc24 please? I have been looking for some time but I have found conflicting statements saying some tool kits are universal and others saying they are for specific models only.

I really want a slim crevice tool for cleaning the car and stairs along with an extender hose. I did have a crevice tool when i first bought the DC24 from QVC but having moved house recently, I must have lost it during the move. I can't clean the stairs properly and its really annoying me now!! Many thanks, Jean

Hello Jean,
The multi tool that comes with the machine as standard actually doubles up as a crevice tool and we have them on our site:
DC24 spare parts We can supply a long thin bendy crevice tool, it looks like this:

From us they are the same price as they are from Dyson £22.

Hello,

Just thought I'd add my experience- I've got a DC24 too and found the lack of crevice tool with it annoying. The crevice tool from a DC25 or any newer cylinder model (e.g. DC26, DC32) will also fit the hose and end of the wand as they use the same Dyson click fitting.

On that note, does anyone know if a mini turbine head is available for this model to buy separately? I know the DC24 Animal comes with one in the box, but I've been told it's a modified part to work better with the lower airwatts of this model.

The tools for the handheld DC16/DC31 also fit the DC24 so should make picking up a crevice tool a bit easier!
