Dyson DC33 design flaw
« on: January 02, 2015, 04:02:48 pm »
My neighbour has owned their DC33 multi floor new around two years ago. In this time period, it has had a new motor, cable repair, loss of suction and a wand problem.
The topic is about the wand. The wand on the DC14 is better, because the wand collar on that is held by a strong clip. On the DC33, it is glued. A when you pull the wand out and locks into place, the glue bind weakens. Eventually the red end of the wand comes off. Dyson are really going downhill really, producing crap designs which cannot handle as much use as the older ones. Really, but can the DC14 wand fit the DC33? If it does, then that is good, because DC33 is the last of the simple Dysons. Now there's modern complex Dysons with a lot to go wrong.

Happy new year btw!
