Hi All, as per the title.
I understand the fittings are different but if the length is roughly the same and the diameter is the same I can refit both ends with no problem. The old one is splitting now quite often which results in me shortening it every so often and it's quite a mission to find a replacement that doesn't cost 100 quid.

If the hose diameter is the same and you feel confident to refit the ends, I don't see why not.

DC18 hoses are thin on the ground now, indeed.

Tell me the outer diameter of your hose and I'll check.

DC07, DC40/41, DC25 are all 44mm on the outer coils.

This DC04 hose is 39mm on the outer coils and looks to be the best candidate.

Just as an update, we do have some recycled Dyson DC18 hoses in stock.
