Our X4 has just started with a red light bag full issue. There are no blockages, the suction is strong when your hand is placed over the hose, the bag housing etc. Inspection shows no blockage in the ductwork through the appliance. After a few seconds the protection device switches off the motor.
We have 3 of these in the family, and this is the first time in 20 or so years this has happened. Usually pretty robust, the worst that's happened is brush change in the motor.
It is a relatively new model, soft start, 1100W model and is fitted with the control board part number, PCB NPPSTXSNM-3, which I understand can be reset rather than the earlier models which can be adjusted, and from our experience would appear to suggest the earlier model design is more robust.
Browsing the PCB's in the online catalogue, I think there is a suggestion that if you retrofit an old power board you can reuse the older type PCB with the adjustment capability and at a good cost saving.?
Is it possible to change both boards on the later soft start model?
Many thanks
