hi the bottom wont release to drop refuse out ive taken the 3 screws out holding the top on and the rod comes off to how do i get the bin off ? to empty

Now you have taken the top off, you need to poke something very long and thin down in place of the rod through the little hole at the bottom to release the flap. If it wont budge, you may have to force it off but you risk breaking the clip.
You shouldnt really remove the cyclone top while the flap is closed.

hi thanks for reply, the vac was given to me cos they bought new one , they couldnt get the flap to drop so i got it off them , managed to do waht you said its ok now, thanks
