DC04 ON OFF BUTTON

hi....can you tell me if the on/off button has a spring under it or does it go directly on to the switch.....thankyou .

No, there's no spring under there, the button sits directly on the switch.

It's good fun trying to get the button out if you've not done it before  :'(

There are little bent screwdrivers available to make the job a bit easier!

No probs and if I'm not mistaken those nice Manchester Vacs people sell those very screwdrivers  :icon_nod:

Is the button getting stuck when you turn the power on/off?
