i have a dc25 with no sucyion coming from the end of the hose i have checked the hose for blockages & it is clear but still no suction any ideas please

There is a valve wheel that looks like this:
That operates a valve that diverts the suction when you remove the wand. Check it is operating. That is the usual reason there is no suction from the wand assuming no blockages.....
