DC24 stabilizer wheel spring.
« on: May 15, 2012, 03:31:46 pm »
Hi all,

have changed out the motor on my DC24 and it works well. However I am having trouble with the rear stabiliser bar spring. The spring wasn't taken off the stabiliser bar but the bar was released from the housing. I am unable to work out how the spring should be refitted and it looks distorted when the machine is in the upright position. Do not recall that looking like that before. Stupidly I didn't take note of the position when I dismantled the machine.

Ok if you don't have a fix could one of you DC24 owners take a photo and post it on here of your stabilizer spring. This is the spring that makes the pair of wheels at the lower back spring up when the red bar is pressed.

many thanks
