Re-fitting forward lock
« on: July 05, 2012, 09:59:04 am »
Hi,

I was dealing with the well-known "Dyson won't stand up" problem, when a piece fell out. The diagrams suggest this is the "forward lock" - a piece of grey plastic with a spring attached.  Can anyone advise how to put this back?  It doesn't seem to want to fit in the place where it looks as though it would go, and it's not clear what would hold it in place if it did ...

Thanks,

Richard
