DC25 Iron Wheel Spigot
« on: June 18, 2012, 10:51:21 pm »
I have replaced the main Iron Duct section of a DC25 and that has meant pretty well taking everything apart and refitting it. I have already got some help with the switch assembly, but I have one more  minor  problem - I have got a bit left over!

Its the Iron Wheel Spigot ,Dyson spares Reference: 914109-01, could you point me to a diagram that will show me where it fits please?

Thanks a lot

Barrie

That little thing sits in the back of the chassis right at the changeover valve. See the diagram here.

The part is circled, and its location is arrowed.

We *think* that a new chassis comes with it in already. That will likely explain why it is left over.

Thanks very much guys, I can't see it but the Machine works fine without it, or maybe it was supplied with the new chassis, I don't know.

I'll just put it in my "parts left over box" !

Thanks again

Barrie

We opened one today - a new DC25 duct/chassis does come with this already.
