DC27 Attachment hose seal not tight?
« on: June 24, 2012, 04:35:07 pm »
I just bought a refurbished DC27.  The connection between the hose and the handle doesn't seem tight to me, i.e. when I use the wand to clean upholstery.  Unlike when I put the attachment on the end of the wand, or when I put the handle in to use vacuum upright, I don't hear a click, and the handle will actually slip down a bit by itself when I use the wand.  I called Dyson's, and they said this was normal, but I'm skeptical.  Also, while there's some suction, it doesn't feel like much when I put my hand over the attachment.  I'd appreciate any suggestions!
