Yes, it likely was damaged in transit - the couriers can sometimes be a little rough.
It should click back in as Russ said. But if you have any trouble, or are not happy doing that, speak to Claire at our shop and she will organise you a replacement and send you a courier label so we can get that one back. Talk to her on 0161 223 6814 between 10-3 any day but Wednesday and Sunday.
Those motors are excellent quality as Russ also mentioned. The genuine ones are of no better quality.
