Dyson refurb fun & games
« on: September 03, 2012, 12:45:42 pm »
This is probably only going to interest fellow Dyson refurb-ers as I'm sure you've felt my pain in a similar way too :))

I had a lovely, seemingly clean DC07 to recondition and thought it was going to be a doddle - boy was I wrong!!

Every part just seemed to need some sort of attention and when I though I was finally finished, I'd find something else that needed sorting. It just seemed to go on forever compared to the usual refurb - was a nice smug feeling finally when it was finished though.

Feet up with a cuppa to celebrate finishing :coffee:

There are some that are beyond hope - those are the ones we strip down for bits usually.

The one that narks me is having a machine almost finished and then spotting a broken chassis that you hadn't noticed.  :angryman:

It was worth persevering with as it's come up lovely, although I did think a few times about 'breaking' it for parts  :))

Yes yes that's a real pain too :'(

What tickles me is seeing machines other people have refurbished........... on markets and similar places.

........ the stuff some of them miss is really funny.

Probably not so funny for their customers afterwards tho.
