DC39 Animal Complete.
« on: September 09, 2012, 05:52:53 pm »
I have just been persuaded to buy a Dyson despite it being made in Malaysia.
I am now experimenting with the DC 39 Cylinder Animal Complete.
The first problem was that the dog hair seems to adhere itself to the handle, we had to pull clumps of hair off regularly.
The beater bar on the device head seems to work erratically, deciding when to stop and start and how many clicks are needed to activate it.
The biggest problem is the emptying of the dust, the release method from the body itself is fine;  getting the dust out of the container is the problem, to get the dog hair from the container required a hand being used to pull the hair out, the dust was now stuck inside the container and needed cleaning to get it out.  Is that normal?
Any advice would be appreciated. :-\

Personally, I don't rate cylinder machines for dog hair. I find uprights to be more effective.
