DC 08 Motor

Hi

I have a DC08 and ordered a new motor from you and it arrived during the week, I opened it last evening and was disappointed with the quality of it, the fan shroud is not attached to it what is the story do i force it back in position??

Could I just return the motor and have a refund because I would much prefer a genuine replacement motor now that I see the quality of this one

With a bit of pressure it should just 'click' into place - it may well have just worked loose in transit where it's been banged about.

They are actually great motors and just as good as the Dyson version IMO and a much more reasonable price.

Just my 2 cents but I'm sure MV will be along shortly  :thumbsup:

Yes, it likely was damaged in transit - the couriers can sometimes be a little rough.  :(

It should click back in as Russ said. But if you have any trouble, or are not happy doing that, speak to Claire at our shop and she will organise you a replacement and send you a courier label so we can get that one back. Talk to her on 0161 223 6814 between 10-3 any day but Wednesday and Sunday.

Those motors are excellent quality as Russ also mentioned. The genuine ones are of no better quality.
