OK, so do you just flood the unit with water using a pressure washer, down the top holes and in the air exit hole until the water runs clean to wash it out?
Hi Everyone,I recently purchased the Workshop manual for my DC07 Animal and decided to give it a thourough clean out so took the cyclone apart as described.I couldn't get the fins off easily so decided not to as the manual says that it's not essential but while I had the top off and was looking at the small cyclone holes from above I noticed that there were further Torx screws inside the unit. Is there any reason that the manual doesn't mention taking these out, surely it would give access to the underneath of the holes for easier cleaning.I couldn't see any light through the holes but I guessed that was because there's nowhere for light to get in unless the two parts are seperated!
