What Dyson Products Do You Own?
« on: December 20, 2012, 11:04:27 pm »
I wondered if anyone other than me has the Dyson bug..........

What Dyson products do you own?

I'll start.

We have our trusty DC14 from when we had a job lot of brand new ones in these colours about two years ago.

(Yes, my wife seldom empties it - when it doesn't work any more, she sends it to our shop for a service)

The 'Ball' models have never enamoured me too much. We get to fix many of them. We had a DC41 in only this week for repair, and that is one of the newer models. I am very happy to stick with tried and tested non-ball uprights in our house. We sell cleaner heads for the DC24 and DC25 every day of the week @ circa £80 each. Our DC14 has needed in two years......... umm............ a clean filter that costs about a fiver.

As we have started selling hand dryers in recent months, when we were doing a new downstairs guest bathroom, I just had to have one.......

It beats a soggy old germ-infested towel on a hoop that nobody will touch anyway.........

(Perhaps a little 'industrial' for a home bathroom, but when you have a Dyson shop......... )

The latest addition to our Dyson menagerie today is a Dyson Hot.

(Not as 'hot' as you might imagine, but very cool design, and I love the magnetic remote control storage on top. It takes the chill off the room anyway - my Christmas present to myself.)

I *really* wanted a Dyson contra-rotating washing machine too, but when we bought several with a view to making a good one out of two or three, it became apparent that the washing machine was not an ideal product - and we understood why Dyson dropped them. Shame......

I know some of you folks have a half dozen different model Dyson vacuum cleaners in the house. Who here has a Dyson fan? Post up some pics and tell us your thoughts about what you have.

I like something that's a bit different,that's why I like dyson's products.
I bought a dc01 when they first came out, dyson did replace the brush bar free of charge when it suddenly became out of shape.
That dc01 is long gone and I have owned a few different dyson cleaners (secondhand) over the years.
Now I have a nice clean dc01 and 2 more for spares.
My cr01 is looking real cool in the kitchen and I have about 3 others for spares, I see on ebay that there is a new drum assembly for £99.
I'm looking to get a airblade, have you used one?  awesome  ;D and a AM04 would be nice.

Here's a picture of my dyson washing machine which I put together from a collection of spare washers.
The white and clear trim was the best out of the purple or silver so that's what I fitted, but if I get bored of that I still could change it to any combination I want  ;D

My wife thinks I'm a nerd for getting so excited about this stuff!
