Trade only section.
« on: December 29, 2012, 08:39:15 pm »
Would there be any interest in a Trade only section, i am a member of UKWG and they are mainly a trade site but have a public section for general public to ask questions and advice.
The trade only side lets you discuss part pricing, bulk buying, sharing tech info etc and the things that should not be disclosed to the gen public.

John.

Its easy enough to set up a private room if there is much interest.

There's a few trade guys posting on here so hopefully there is some more interest :icon_nod:

Unusual customer stories/situations would be a good one to share to see how others would handle similar.

That is the sort of thing Russ, as i say there are some things better discussed behind closed doors.
If the trade room could be set up we could sign up for it, you would be looking for traders with web sites etc as proof of trade status or spares accounts held etc.

I'll set one up over the weekend.

Anyone else who wants in can say so on the topic here.

I guess a website (for anyone we dont know) is the easiest litmus test for entry as suggested.

Hi Neil, do you have a website or some other method we can know you are in the job? Maybe make an intro post in the intro room?  ;)
