Dyson cr02 washing machine tripping electric.
« on: December 26, 2013, 01:05:03 pm »
Hi all I have a dyson cr02 washing machine.  I've just started to get problems with it. When the machine washes it's ok when it starts the spin cycle it trips the power. But if I start the machine empty it completes the whole cycle no problems. Any ideas please

Regards Gary

It maybe a problem with the motor/motors
At a guess the reason that it works empty is less load for the motors.
Remove the back and run a cycle, checking for excess sparking from the motors, if you have any spare motors swop them over.
If you don't have any spares now would be a good time to buy a couple of spare machines off ebay for parts.
Merry Christmas

Think I'm going to sell it .It now shows f14 and won't clear the error.

That's a shame, F14 is flood and is the micro float switch at the very bottom of the machine.
Must have a leak or you spilt some water if you were in the back of the machine.
Soak the water up from the float switch with kitchen towel and it will go again.
