cyclone head bunged up
« on: January 19, 2013, 06:24:28 pm »
hi, the cyclone head on my DC03 seems to be bunged & I can't figure out how to clean it since it doesn't seem to come apart.

i've replaced both filters & cleaned out the cassette, so i'm confident i have narrowed down the lack of suction to the cyclone head, just not sure how to proceed now...Any thoughts?

NB: this is the part I am talking about.. in case I have got the name wrong:

[d]

Thanks for any help.

Hi,
I don't own a dc03 but with my dc01 I use a air compressor and a blow gun to clean it.
I don't know how different your dyson is from a dc01 but I had a suction problem and it was the rubber flap at the bottom.
I'm sure some one who knows will be a long soon.
