Hello Forum.
Recently, the Gimble Lock Arm (part 909984-02) on our DC15 broke - specifically the little extra nub of plastic that helps keep the vac from tipping too far while in use.
I can readily get the part online - however, I am not a vacuum repair man. However, I'd like to think I'm somewhat handy (can swap RAM in a computer, can change my own oil, etc.).
Is attempting to change this part out myself worth trying? Or am I in over my head. All I've been able to find are blown-out schematics online - no real how-to literature for this model.
Thanks for any info you can provide.
