There are some counterfeit Dyson Airblades around.
« on: February 02, 2013, 07:35:37 pm »
For anyone thinking of buying a Dyson Airblade from an unknown source, it has come to my attention today that there are some fake Dyson Airblades in the country. So beware!

They are being sold complete with fake Dyson boxes!

One of the guys we deal with who buys and sells Airblades went to look at ten that were for sale with boxes. He noticed straight away that they were fakes, but described them as really good fakes that would fool most people.

I am waiting on him emailing me some photos over.

Dyson, Trading Standards and Customs work quite hard to keep fake Chinese products out of Europe. Obviously, some slipped through the net. These were for sale somewhere in the Midlands I gather, but there is no saying how many might be in circulation. So beware unknown, low feedback sellers on eBay and the small ads.

Have you guys seen the fake dyson air multipliers. Some are complete carbon copies. We have some here in SA but badged under other products names. They look identical untill you switch them on. What a joke. I bought a few to see how they were made, the plastic is rubbish cheap , the vents haven't been molded properly and they use a standard motor not a digital one. So they sound like a rocket at full speed.
