My £10 bargain animal that cost 80 quid in parts has been scrapped, assembled it all back together and it started making a really loud squealing sound then smoke!! Stripped the cleaner head down and the motor shaft to clutch belt had cut through the clutch housing it's self. Never seen anything like it. After many bad words and lots of anger I decided enough was enough and I stripped it all down for parts!!

However I was quick to replace the dud machine, see below :)

Blimey, that animal even cost us money since the courier broke one chassis.

I know I have said it before, but you do make a very tidy machine.

I like those black ones actually. We sometimes convert those to clutched ones.

I no bloody city link, the lavender chassis is just sat in the shed now!

sold the cyclone but got a few other odds and bobs that are the lavender colour if anyone was interested. :)

Yep I quite like the colour and I assume its a later model as its got the modified bin handle that's spring loaded. Quite a good design actually. I put that hepa and motor filter in it so they have come to use, just a load of lavender animal parts in a box.

Also you know the post filter cover below the cyclone, well the catch at the front had been attacked with a screw driver so I put a piece of insulation tape over the tab and pushed the cover back on and it now looks a lot better than the tab being all churned up, (see below)
