Dyson DC07 DC25
« on: April 16, 2013, 03:16:47 pm »
I am a dealer and an authorized center for Dyson, here in the USA. Dyson does not sell certain parts, instead they want to sell components. I understand that is not true in the UK. For example on DC 07 cyclone, the catch that hold the dirt bin cover locked, is not available as a part instead we have to buy the whole cyclone, also the DC25 cyclone spring that pushes down the bin cover, we must buy the whole cyclone  Can any one help?

You mean the bin flap catch?

Dyson do not sell those here, or the cyclone tops for that matter, but we have both.

In fact we even have them on our US page here: https://manchestervacs.co.uk/Dyson/DysonSparePartsUSA.html

I know you guys do get overcharged over the pond on some stuff though. Lots of dealers in the US get stuff from the UK for these very reasons.
