We have a DC14 at home, and that is only a face-lifted DC07.
[We also have a Roomba iRobot upstairs just for fun, and for going under the beds on hard floors]Claire has a DC07 and a DC24 (the latter only because she doesn't want to carry the former upstairs). She had a 14 but we sold it when she wasn't watching. I had to give her the 24 to keep her quiet about the missing 14.
We have a DC07 in our holiday home. It's been there about five years.
My Dad still has a DC04 (the one before the DC07) I got him in the mid nineties - we fixed it once a couple of years ago. My Auntie has a DC04 I gave her about four years ago - I put a bottom hose (£3) on it one Christmas. The bloke who lives above our shop has a DC07 he got from us about three years ago - he loves it
(even though it is Barbie pink).
Our tech has a DC07 he found in an alley and brought back to life (he likes to revive stuff he finds in obscure places).
Any of us could choose anything off the shop floor. All of us use the older stuff. They are like Morris Minors - you can fix them forever.
We'll still be selling recon DC07's @ £99 in five years while Dyson are selling the DC75 @ £500.
