Title: DC05 Absolute plus problem

Hi

I changed my motor to a new YDK motor as the old one burnt out. I changed the plug to a new plug. It's still not working.
The only problem now is the push button. Should I order a new one and fit it. As the vaccum isn't working at all now and the push button goes up and down like normal.

Have you checked the cable?

The cable rewind doesn't work properly it comes back to a certain level and stops.what do I need to check on the wire cable.

They are prone to braking, if you can connect a cable directly to the new motor and see if it works.
