Title: DC 17 Cleaner Head Quit!

I was using the machine and accidentally sucked a shoe lace into the brush bar housing. Now the brush bar motor does not work, but the main motor works.
What should I look for?

That's an American model isn't it?

Have you tried the reset button by the power switch a few times with the machine reclined? Assuming you have removed the obstruction that is......
