Title: Using Our Universal Tool Set With a DC24.
Post by: MV Claire on June 12, 2015, 01:14:11 pm
A couple of people seem to be having difficulty using our universal tool set (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/Dyson/dyson-universal-tool-set) with a DC24 for some reason. We get the odd email telling us they don't fit; which is wrong.

For simplicity, and so I can link people who have this query, I wanted to put a few photos here to demonstrate.

Here is a DC24 with the universal tool set.

To use them with the hose, one removes the wand, and the adaptor fits like so:

The tools then fit onto the adaptor like so:

To use the tools with the wand, you take off the wand and use the handle end in the hose like so:

The adaptor then fits onto the other end of the wand like so:

And as before, the tools then fit onto the adaptor like so:

To take a step back, here is how the wand connects:

As you can see, they do fit.  ;)
