Hello all,
I am trying to repair a DC25 as two different vacuum shops in my city of Ottawa, Canada has asked me to just replace the vacuum entirely. The suction is still great and apart from not switching from the wand to the motor, it works fine. The issue I have is while I was vacuuming one day, the wheel pin just fell off. From the diagrams on this site, it looks like the wheel spigot must have detached somehow. I've attached pictures of the wheel pin (with screw still in it).
Is this replaceable? If so, is the wheel spigot inside the changeover valve assembly or is it immediately behind the clear valve wheel? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
