Title: Cordless Dyson models
Post by: Parwaz7862 on October 10, 2015, 07:46:47 pm
Anybody tried the digital slim Dysons? I think they would be quite handy, cba dragging out the big Dyson all the time if my OCD kicks in over a few bits on the floor, hate vacuuming the stairs aswell, these would be little gems :) I would love the DC44, and then a Total clean V6 in the red colour scheme if I upgrade  ;D They are more expensive than the DC41 though! Surely they must be powerful, if not better than a DC50 or DC24 I wouldn't bother

They are brill. I bought a DC35 refurb from the ebay outlet for £135 It was like new and got the full 2 years. More powerful than a relatives DC24 and DC01. Go for it they are amazing and i can clean a 3 bed detached in less than the run time on normal mode. That includes above floor cleaning and dusting. Standard motorhead is brill on hard floors and carpets.

Go for it. You will not regret it.

They don't appear to always be that reliable, unfortunate.

I never liked them, I wont sell them, but today I bit the bullet and bought a DC35 for home (alongside the DC14).

We had a cordless from a neighbour to repair. After we fixed it he hasn't called for it for weeks. But as he was a neighbour, it was at home. Today, wifey's curiosity got the better of her and she tried it out.

Ten minutes later, she wanted one. So I found a new blue one that matched the DC14 and the fan.  ::)

I guess I need the 'ownership' experience.

On a related note, we had a new V6 in the shop today (so new the serial number wasn't on our or Dyson's spares database). The battery was kaput already!  :'(

The cheapest and best-value ones are on Dyson's eBay outlet. The ones they say are "refurbished".
