Title: Dyson DC28 Animal--Brush Bar stops
Post by: 392 Hemi on November 10, 2012, 05:49:59 pm
Good day all, new to the forum. The brush bar grabbed a loose strand out of a low pile carpet and wrapped about two feet around itself before stopping. I removed the piece of carpet, and checked to make sure it was all gone. Hit the reset button, the air muscle lowered the head to the floor as normal. The bar began to rotate, and then stopped. repeated the process numerous times, always with the same results. There are no funny sounds or grinding noises, it just stops and thell ight begins to blink. Im sure that Dyson will honour this under warranty, but I would need to box it up and send it back for repair. If it's an easy fix, I'd much rather deal with it myself, if possible.

Any help you folks could provide, would be greatly apprciated.
