Title: This might make your day
Post by: Parwaz7862 on July 22, 2014, 08:35:58 pm
I seen a nice looking DC14 Origin on eBay, and it wasn't standing up. I decided to send the lady a message which was;

"Hi there
If you are standing behid the vacuum, on the right hand side, there is a tube/valve pipe with 2 yellow buttons on it (on each side) First, lie the vacuum down on the ground. Next, push the pipe upwards till it locks into place. The vacuum should now stand upright like it should.
It is a common but very minor problem, but so easy that you dont need any tools :)"

The lady replied;

"man I love you and I want to have your babies.....just tried it and locks into place perfectly...WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

And I burst out laughing LOL  :))  :king:

Atleast I got someone happy and made them keep their Dyson though. All I was expecting was a simple"Thank you" , but I get "OMG MARRY ME!"

Now imagine if you worked on the Dyson helpline, and tell the lady to remove the  valve pipe for example, and the clog is there, and you get a scream saying "OMG MARRY ME" LMAO  :))

Ask her if she is slim and blonde.   ;D

[The women here will now call me all kinds of things that end in "ist"]

Lol after that, I told her that a seal is missing and then she just went normal and said "very much appreciated, thank you" ;D

Your supposed to not mention these things and get a cheap vac...

Saying that I often message sellers of broken hi lo henries that are far away on collection only, and the owner writes a sad ditty about it telling them how to take the blown PCB out and run it on hi only. Had a few thank you messages and note the listings end after that! Of course if their under 10 miles away I keep stum!

You coned yourself out of a cheap flimsy Vacuum, but you didn't and instead pointed out how stupid they are for not looking into it themselves. Nice one Parwaz...

I bet her fanny was tingling from excitement
