Do you guys at manchester vacs service Kirbys? Do you polish them up, or know any where that does? Or does anyone for that matter!
I have a few machines that i want doing so i can sell them on. I'm not sure if there are places where i could take a box of Kirby parts for polishing, but if anyone knows of one i am interested ;)
I could polish them by hand, i know. That is still on the cards. If the price was right to have them done properly it would save me some time which i am all for.
Any input appreaciated.

Thought that was a euphemism at first :))
Last time I did a kirby I used brasso but it wasn't that successful.

Vacuumland is probably a better ask as people on there do amazing things with Kirbys. From what I've read though, a bench grinder with various grades of polishing wheel, and polishing paste and time, lots and lots of time!
If you have any old school wheel refurb places they may do it, I remember an episode of Wheeler Dealers where 'Owd out yer aaaand' Brewer took some minilight wheels and got some old school looking dude to mirror shine them up.

I bought a metal polishing kit on eBay for a tenner, comes with buffing wheels & attaches to a cordless drill. I finish off by hand with Meguiars metal polish :icon_nod:
Professional polishers normally charge a mint.

Guys! Thank you for your input, its appreciated.
So, i can get my hands on a drill. Would you be able to send me the link for the kit they I need. Is polish sprayed everywhere in this operation?

Yes, I do know a chap who is a Kirby guru in Manchester. A proper bloke. Here is his site: Kirby Service in Manchester (http://jbarlows.co.uk/). He also does Karcher pressure washers and other stuff.
