Title: Slightly worn DC14 baseplate
Post by: beko1987 on June 04, 2015, 03:25:55 pm
Hoovered (geddit... :underchair:) this up from ebay for £5 (motor is very dead, makes burning noises and smells when turned on...),  but I also noticed this...

Never seen one this worn before! Got some good 04/07 clutched baseplates somewhere, will grab one when I got into the loft to get my remaining good YDK out of a scrap DC04, but surely this would have been noticable way before it got to this stage? The brushroll is nearly worn right down as well!

 :o

Only worn on one side?

Is the head or foot plate out of alignment?

Never seen one like that either.
