Title: Dc33 carpet mode noisy

This unit has excellent suction from hose and bare floor mode. When carpet mode is selected and tilted back the brush is stationary and a horrible loud clacking sound prompts shutting off immediately. Brush belt is intact and beater brush spins by hand. Is this a clutch issue? Thanks for the help!
