I think this is a great site...I just don't know how to use the FORUM yet..I'm trying tho...as I have a problem I need help with.......as follows...
Please could you tell me how the motors are numbered? I took the power board out without marking it... and don't want to plug in the wrong motor ... the board is marked M1 and M2.... . Looking at the back of the machine is the motor on the left hand side Motor number 1?
I would appreciate your help..TY.

Are the plugs the same?
-
Yes the plugs are identical and either will slot onto either connections on the POWER PCB. The marking on the PCB M1 and M2 I assume refer to the motors and would need to the correct ones connected?

I have contacted 'ASK DYSON' and they will not answer me question saying that they don't know....!!! Which I find very frustrating.... as someone who had serviced my machine over the past 10 years 2 engineers... Steve and Eddy.....(Portsmouth Area) must know.... but I am unable to contact them via DYSON????

Dyson offer no support at all for these machines now.
I'll PM two guys on here and link them to the topic.

Many thanks for your help MVAC...... I had some info on this problem...( Many thanks MATTHEW).. and the advice I have is the left hand motor ...( Back of machine view ) is M1 (top slot connection on PCB)..... and the right hand motor M2 (bottom) I hope this helps anyone else with this MOTOR question that ASK DYSON would not answer... (maybe they don't know themselves????...lol..)
