Title: Bristles not spinning round

The bristles underneath my dyson are no longer spinning round or collecting dirt off the floor. I've checked and there's nothing lodging in the way, the bristles are free of dirt and the belt is still in tact and spinning. Does anyone Hav any ideas please?

What model Dyson is it?

If it is a brush control model, could it be that that the clutch has been knocked to the off position - coloured knob on the foot plate.

If not that let us know the model and some other suggestions will be sure to follow  :icon_nod:
