Title: DC07 Chassis Question
Post by: Dysonboy123 on August 04, 2019, 03:12:36 pm
Can I wash the chassis? And if so, how long do I keep it soaked in the bath?

within reason, EVERY part of a DC07 is washable except the electricals etc.

Everything plastic can be washed, best not to wash the metal rods within the brushroll or the wheel axel though, the wand/handle will be fine. Bearings are also a big no-no so remove them if you are going to bath the brush.

Power cable, switch, motor etc obviously cannot be washed.

Wand/handle, hose all give a good soak.

Do the side break or no?

Can you re-phrase the question?

I've seen them broken on all ages, be it due to brittle plastics or just being smashed.

Your questions are a little inane. If you don't grasp very basic science/physics, you probably shouldn't be taking stuff that connects to the mains apart.
