Title: DC40 stabilizer wheels
Post by: fzm053 on April 10, 2017, 04:00:32 am
Hi,  I am looking for a little guidance on my DC40.  The rear stabilizer wheels no longer fold down when you put the handle in the upright position. I can push them down easily and get them to lock into place, but they will not do it by themselves.   Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Make sure first that the small rear internal hose is fitted correctly.

Next, try spraying silicon or maintenance spray all around the rear wheels mechanism. This can be easily done with the main ball cover on.

If they don't cure it it will probably be an issue with the gear lever (part number 922555-01 I think).

Let us know how you get on.
