Title: Which Dyson do I need?

Hi all

Looking to buy a recon Dyson but not sure which one. Live alone - no pets - 2 bedroom house with 2 floors - 90% carpets. Don't want to spend more than necessary.

Which one would you buy?

I would suggest you buy the Dyson  DC04.  This is " The Ford Transit" of all Dysons! Performs well and easy on the pocket!

Thanks for the rely. How much beter is the DC14 than the DC04? What do you get for the extra money?

You get nothing more in particular, except a redesigned cyclone unit. Mechanically, they are rather similar and share many parts.
