As the title suggests, we are short of old Dyson clutches for spares and repair.
They can be with snapped belts, burned out white wheels, otherwise faulty or condition unknown - it doesn't matter. Standard DC04/7/14/27/33, Zorbster or DC03 type. If you have a few scrap ones gathering dust in the back of your shed, we want them.

A minimum of 5 but the more the merrier!
If you can print a courier or Royal Mail label we send you by email, and drop them off at a local shop or a local sorting office (we will tell you where if you give us your postcode) that is all you need to do.
Payment: These are of negligible or no value to anyone else, and we are paying to ship them to us already, but we will give you £2 each for them all the same. If you need any parts, we'll do you a deal on those if you prefer.
If you are a forum member here you can send me a PM here, or you can email us >>here<< (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/contact). Just give us your postcode, email address, tell us how many old clutches you have, we need the exact weight and size of the packed box too, and if you want something in particular in exchange or you want paying and we will do the rest.

A worthy cause!
Sadly I have recycled my stash of random clutch bits to breaking point now, have 2 'complete' ones but with knackered white wheels, so keeping those! Got several empty shells, motor-clutch big bearings, inner metal bits, bearing etc if their any help, but I suspect you probably have those sorts of bits already!

Easier we get compete ones really. Handy for anyone who dismantles/builds machines. We used to throw them in the scrap at one time. I bet others still do.

Have you seen this Stu? Not a million miles from you either.

I imagine this will be your best bet, just hoover up ebay auctions, or get 'pally' with dyson breakers. redbluepheonix on ebay is the big chap round here.

Funnily enough Sam, I've just added a redbluepheonix listing to my watch list. I'm pretty sure he used to be based just north of the M25 near Watford. Had some good stuff off him a good few years ago and it was well worth the trip. He's on your patch though if you fancy a load of 7's and 14's, go for it.

I've had stuff from him before, he's a good chap. Can't afford to sink lots into many machines atm though, but my God he had a lot of machines! He's just outside Aylesbury, must pay him a visit soon though! Will save up

Don't suppose you're still after any clutches?

Yes we are. Package them up and PM me with the weight and dimensions of the box and I'll shoot you a label over to print and drop off at a local shop.

Just to wake this topic up, we still want old Dyson clutches.
Calling all Dyson repairers, engineers, and appliance trade experts.
Do you have any old Dyson clutches lying around gathering dust? Maybe they’re damaged, with burnt wheels or snapped belts? We’re interested in buying them for refurbishing.
Still £2 each! And we pay the carriage.
If you’ve got a quantity of old Dyson clutches just sitting in a corner, don’t let them go to waste. Get in touch with us via email >>here<< (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/contact) if you have some available.
