Title: Mouldy Millionaire's DC14
Post by: RustySkull on January 06, 2018, 10:27:02 pm
So today I won a nice little DC14 on that bay where E's hang out.
I went to the wonderful town of Romford to collect my winnings and after sitting in four hours of traffic because an old man crashed I was home!
Below is the video, hot off the press as it's a weekend special. I haven't actually bought a switch yet as I realized the postage from here was more than the switch costs haha so I'll be looking around for a switch.
A follow up video will arrive then!!!!

Nice one
DC14s are awesome
The switches almost never go wrong in a DC14, they are quite reliable. It may still need replacing though, but up to you
I quite like the colour scheme

I like it too, I like white for some reason lol.

Are there any silly safety switches anywhere on these?

They are completely simple, just like your old DC07 Animal, there's just the cable, the motor and the switch. That's all the electricals. Oh and if you count the TOC being on the motor as well that's there.

The motors are usually the fault with these, sadly. Luckily they are easy to find anywhere

That wasn't filthy.

I have and sure other people have - bought machines in for refurb so bad i refused to do it and scrapped them.

On the other hand i had 2 dc07 other week that were immaculate, must have been cleaned after every use !

I had a DC04 up to its kneck in dirt last year and made it look like new
Shame it didn’t sell for much £15 👎🏻

I myself clean mine out once a fortnight I only use the vac once a week anyway
Use my trustee broom and dustpan and brush a lot due to the birds sometimes can’t be arsed
Getting the vac out 😆😂😂😂🤓😂🤓
