I used to own this, and now I don't, having swapped it recently for something amazing! But I have a stripdown and almost refurb thread of stuff for it, so why not write it up!
I owned it for a fair few years actually, I bought it on ebay cheaply from the notorious vacuum destroyer joshyvacboy.
It worked OK. Here is Eva, probably not 2 at the time playing with it in 2013
Anyway, here it is cleaning our old flat the day we moved out!

It was the last vacuum to clean there, and the first to clean our current house! (as it was the only vac I had to hand the day we moved in!)
I used it as my January Vac!
Which involved cleaning up after taking the christmas tree down

And it was generally pretty great. So let's get on with the usual style refurbishment, although it did not go entirely to plan!
Let's begin *cracks open a can*

The wands are not original sadly, but do their job well bar not being brown

The floor tool is apparently very rare, being a long neck brown one!

Underneath was worn but not too bad

(I cleaned this out a few years ago so it's not too bad now) but baseplate off

And the brushes pop out for a thorough clean

Onto the hose now, and again not original, although the machine originally came to me with a strech hose, also wrong but horrible to use, so I picked this up from another collector years ago.

I could not get the ends off the hose at all, they would not budge, which made cleaning it alot harder than it should have been, but more on that later!

Under the tool tray sits the bag. The chamber is sealed by the tool tray, so you can take the lid off to get at tools with the machine running.

That removed, it's time to get electrical!

This cover is broken sadly, it was when I got it. All the original sound deadening had long gone too

The lid is wired up to the motor with 2 plugs

Revealing the switch arrangements. The E lever is depressed automatically with the machine switched on (it pushes the switch). The white switch controls the oepration though, so each button just flicks the switch one way. The main power switch is the black one to the side

This part here forms part of the blockage notification! It's a magnet within an arm, that gets pulled up (or down, I can't remember...) when the suction is blocked.

Now, we need to turn everything on it's head

And remove all the screws

2 hide behind the rear wheels

Then the outer shell lifts off

The mahoosive side bumpers lift off

Which are a bit grubby

Turns out the bumpers are in 2 parts too, so apart they come!

Where were we? Oh yes!
Underneath the machine, now visible with the shell off is a tab that holds the cord reel in

But we don't want that for now, we need to snip some cable ties!

And lift the dividing wall out

Then remove the plug (as it would have come without one, and the plug doesnt fit through the cable exit hole!)

Now we can lift the cord reel out, the beige firewall holds it down. Then, open up the box holding 4 live wires, the front right one goes to the cord reel, remove it

The red wire however goes to one of the multiblocks, and the easiest way to remove that was to unplug the single brown connector

Remove the supressor
[attachimg=8]
Then finally remove the red wire from this block, noting where it goes

Finally, we can call the cord reel removed!

And look at the rest of the rats nest

This connector is factory, I initially thought it wasn't but can see no reason why it would have been added...

But, to aid the rats nest at the back, we need to move down to the front

And remove the hose inlet
[attachimg=5]
Then unscrew the power nozzle plug

The power nozzle wires can then be pulled up and out of the machine like so

The motor just sits in the chassis, and would pull right out bar a short earth wire that took some creativity to remove

It's 2 live wires are unplugged, one goes to the block of 4 and the other to the one lone brown connector

Behind here houses the PCB that runs the show

Down under the motor sits a thermal cutout

And the machine is de-wired! Note the removed part of the chassis, more on that in a sec. But first, some ancient crumbly diffuser fell out

And I removed the bit that housed the TCO before I forgot where it went/it fell off

The reason I had to remove the main firewall was the bag full mechanism, which is here

It's actually quite cool, it's a magnetic switch. When the lack of airflow causes the sprung magnet the other side of the plastic to move, it pulls the contacts together and thrown the bag full light on! Sellotape removed and out it comes

And it is all finally out of the machine!

Whilst we are there, the motor fancase rubber can come off

As can the cord reel locking device, which pops out of here
[attachimg=2]
The cable guide is clipped onto this the other side

And the spring sits like so

Back to the front again, we can remove the hose lock from the hose entry part

The release knob lifts out with the black part removed (The black part lifts the release knob as the hose is inserted)

The rear grille slides out of the chassis

The bag holder has a plastic bush that widens it out slightly to fit though the chassis and create an air tight seal to the hose inlet side

This yellow arm holds the bag in place, and fits like so

This rubber seal sits between the white bush and the green part

The seal on the bag side was done for, so I removed the remains

The carry handle is another insert and lifts out

Underneath is a front wheel!

Once unscrewed, you can see 2 white nylon rollers underneath

And the main wheel pops out

The chassis is empty! Years of carbon dust are now visible after I've got my fingerprints all over it

The motor has 2 soundproofing (I presume) shells around it that unscrew
[attachimg=1]
And 2 anti vibration posts that hold the shells on
[attachimg=2]
to reveal the motor itself

These french motors HATE being disassembled, so I am doing nothing to it!

It's utterly fine anyway, little drop of oil on the top bearing will see it reet
The cord rewind had to be cable tied as it very slowly unwound itself...

And we are stripped!

Everything was washed and polished in the usual way
And I tried to make sense of the wiring...

There's a loom for the controls on the lid, then the main chassis loom. I untangled it all

I then gave it a light polish

Which came up well

Caught my bloody pad on an edge though, luckily they are very cheap

This put some shine back into the plastic

And cleaned all the remains of the foam from under the lid

And that's it for now, the next step is re-assembly, and that's where it goes a bit wrong (there was an explosion and everything, my youtube followers should remember that!)

Then I put the casing back together, which no longer made my hands black

And the wheel screws down, and the wheel itself can be fitted with a smear of grease on the axle as it squeaked a bit before

I fitted the front handle compartment

and then fitted some nice new foam to the bag holder!

All fitted, just some foam to put on the inside edge, but it had not arrived by this point I don't think!

On the outside, the big rubber seal/cap that bridges the gap betwixt inner and outer piece

However, for now, I can't fit anymore that end. So it's onto the back, and the rear grille went on

I popped the front parts back together so I didn't loose them

And clipped it onto the cable exit part

Found a cracking date wheel

Firewall now, and the rubber fancase seal goes on

PCB is fitted

And then the first disaster happened. I snapped the reed switch whilst trying to feed it through the casing...

So I bought some, which were much much smaller than the originals and soldered one in and taped it down

The magnet was fitted to the other side

Then the rear of the pre motor filter housing was screwed in
[attachimg=7]
The firewall can be refitted now

And it's cover screwed on, which would have been easier before I fitted it, but fitted fine anyway!

Next, the motor gets dropped in

and the annoying earth wire gets connected

and the motor screwed down
[attachimg=3]
Quick flip underneath and the thermal cut out can be fitted

Then, I can unscrew this

Remove this
[attachimg=6]
and wire up the power nozzle socket!

The live terminals are hooked up

Supressor refitted for now (and I really wish I had just left it the hell alone!)

Next, it's time to snip the cable tie stopping the cord rewind from undoing itself

and fit it!

Fit the plug

Attempt to tidy the wiring

Then, put the furniture guards together and fit them to the cleaner

Then, I needed to find a post motor filter/diffuser, since the original one disintegrated as they all do! A quick raid of the shed, and Miele to the rescue!

We also need a pre motor filter! Uncle Miele to the rescue again

Next, time to assemble the switch housing. At this current moment in time, the Power Adjustment switch cover had gone awol, so I imagined it was there for now

Wired everything up

Stuck the pretty bits down

And fitted that to the lid

Wired it all back up as it was

I then carefully fitted the broken trim and pedals back on

I did try to glue this corner down, but it didn't take, and I didn't want to wob glue everywhere!

Plugged it all back in

And screwed it down

Popped the tools back in

Lid on

Time to pop the floor tool back together

I then spent an evening infront of my tablet on the 26th Febuary 2017 watching our local kebab van win the best kebab van in England award at the kebab oscars! (and yes it's bloody amazing! Utterly manic on a busy night though http://www.britishkebabawards.co.uk/the_delicious_taste_of_success_celebrations_as_thame_kebab_van_scoops_award)
and cleaned the hose by hand, as I couldnt get the ends off to put it in the machine

That, really, was done! However, it goes downhill here...
I cut the supressor out and soldered the wires together... this made it blow the fuse... Because I did not think ahead and leave plenty of wire on the supressor, soldering it back in was a right pain, but just about do-able. Then I broke the new reed switch I fitted:
Then I attempted to replace the broken LED bulb... which went well

Getting thoroughly pissed off with it now, it was working again.
Finally, I bought some roam adhesive strip from ebay to replace the factory stuff I removed the remains of at the beginning

Which looked really smart

However, it was too thick. And upon fitting the top cover, it managed to push a wire off the PCB, causing it to go into limp home mode (half power, lights on all the time). So I stripped it all off and fixed that
But, in putting it all back together finally, I dropped the motor, and snapped a wire off the capacitor again! And my previous solder joint came with it, so it was game over... So I put it in the loft and forgot about the hateful thing.
Until a few months later, a collector I know came round for a machine swapping session. And I gave him the sensotronic, as I wanted to sell it once this was done, but now could not. The jammy sod opened it up, and snipped the black link wire within the main loom, which caused it to work fine! That must have been why it blew the fuse before!
TBH by this point I did not care, especially after he gave me something in return, a very rare machine in the UK, and one that I love very much. I haven't shown it on here before, and it'll be a while before it gets a refurb as I'm waiting for some parts from the US!
