Title: My workshop build!
Post by: beko1987 on April 16, 2014, 07:32:49 pm
Well, after squatting in my parents garage for the last few months, including turning 8 DC07's round there, I've finally been able to get on with myworkshop!

When we moved to our house, this was at the bottom of the garden

When we moved in the lettings agent said it was being replaced, which is good as it was rotten to the core!

Fast forward to last weekend, and a shed was delivered! Myself and a friend put it up over the weekend

First thing I did was notch a workbench up out of thick plywood

Not quite enough room to stand a DC07 up in, but its as low as it can go!

The floor was shit, and bounced around tremendously, so put a big bit of chipboard down

Made some shelves cutom measured to sit a black box on each from a bookcase my mum was throwing out

Whats the purpose of the screen? Or is it just because you could?

Just because I could (was going in a skip otherwise) and I'll have a little pc hooked up, so can browse forums, upload my pictures, procrastinate, stream music etc

What I would give to be that organised.

i set up a workshop in my spare bedroom which is about 4 times the size, yet I've manage to fill that with spares and currently have 3 dysons in various states of work in progress in my lounge !!

I also have  big printer in my lounge.

Think I need motivation for a sort out :-)

I managed to find the motivation from somewhere and I am currently turning my shed into a workshop too.

once its done ill just have to make sure not to bring any dysons into the house or the conservatory to work on.

I'll up load some photos too.

Going to have to put a TV and a PC in there too though.

Was going to have a day out there today but its raining so hard the gardens flooding...

Lol, these things start with the best intensions dont they :-).

I just want to rent my second bedroom out again. So providing there's nothing in there anymore it'll be alright.
